 Great stands at a bargain price January 18, 2008
Too good to be true but these stands work as well as the Sony stands that cost 4 times more. Once again Amazon comes through!

The stands do what they are meant to do, but are not the most stable of stands. It's still a good buy if you are looking for someone cheap that fits most stereo speakers.
Not as delicate as they appear January 15, 2008
I use these for Bose cube speakers, and they work fine. They are definitely beefier than they appear on the screen, though. The upside is that I would have no problem putting much bigger speakers on the stands. The downside is that they are overkill for the little cubes.
The finish is a grainy (i.e. rough) grey powder coat. It is unobtrusive, but a metallic finish might look a bit more elegant.
Overall, they work fine, and they are easily adjustable and sturdy (and cheap!). They just look a little different in person than on the screen.
speaker stands January 15, 2008
These speaker stands were just what I was looking for. Although my oddly-shaped speakers weren't a perfect fit for the shape of the stands, the double-sided tape that was included helped fit them on the space provided. They are sturdy and attractive, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for this sort of item.

They are easy to assemble. Although the specs say that the stand can hold speakers weighing 2 pounds, they hold my speakers which may be around 4lbs. Only thing is they are not black but light gray. But hey, as long as they are functionally good, you can bear with the gray look
