It would be better if Canon provide a tripod mount ring, like 70~200mm F/2.8L. Of course, I know it's not a fault of Amazon.

THIS LENS ROCKS!!!!have used this lens for a couple of months now and i have been very pleased with the pictures.still learning the camera and lens but i would highly recommend this lens for someone looking to upgrade to a proffesional qualitylens,but with a more reasonable price than the f2.8L lens.the f4L lens is great.

I shoot whenever I can, I'm a old retired fellow, so I have the time.I also have, pretty much,alot of equipment, but I am really happy with my new Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM. It truely is a very good piece of equip.
I enjoy it, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

This is a great lens, although it is a little heavy. I use to it now quite often. The clarity is wonderful, very sharp. I was torn between this lens and the Canon 70 to 300mm IS lens, but decided to go with the quality of the L lens. I use a tripod most of the time, but occasionally hand hold it. Don't really know if I made the right decision, but I am happy with the results so far.
