Life Saver May 13, 2007 Purchased my Nuvi 350 GPS over a month ago..Used it several times and found it to be exactly what I was looking for. I am NOT the best map reader and my husband usually had to take over the map reading while I drove. NOW with the help of our GPS no more arguing over directions, etc. It is worth every penny we paid for it and would recommend it to anyone since it is so easy to program. Love IT!!
.. May 13, 2007 5 stars for this babe. The first and the best GPS that I ever had(i suppose it to be). Easy and good guidance on the road. Love it so much
Has a few quirks but does the job. May 13, 2007 I was surprised to know the battries are not replacable. So if the battery goes dead, throw away a $400 equipment. I recently took a trip to Chicago. it worked fine unless I reached the dountown area. With so many landmarks spaced together it got confused and started giving different directions every few seconds.Only a little instinct got me to the hotel. In other situations it works fine so I am keeping it, but would keep a map just in case!!
GPS-How did I ever live without it May 13, 2007 It is worth every penny. I take it on trips and use it with rental cars. Go buy it...It is great!!
Good navigational aid May 13, 2007 The Garmin nuvi 350 is a good navigational aid that could become a great one if they'd update the map software to use route numbers, instead of highway names. When your're told to "turn right onto Joe Jones Highway", and the road is marked Route 1, it can be a bit confusing, especially in congested areas.
Also, some of the pre-programmed information, such as local restaurants, for example, is outdated, or just plain incorrect.
That aside, you get a lot of useful information and accurate navigational guidance for the money, especially at the Amazon price.
