Since we bought our Nuvi, we have traveled to Virginia, North Carolina, and Utah. There is a feeling of confidence in traveling to new places and knowing that we won't get lost! Our Nuvi has a quick re-mapping feature in case we turn off the route, and we also like that we can enter mid-trip stops along the way.

I bought this for a Christmas present and Amazon had the lowest price available. My family is thrilled with their gift. The GPS is straightforward to use and has lots of "extras." I'm thinking of buying one for myself now...

It is not as user friendly as i would like. It is harder to change when a correction in the settings becomes necessary. There were very few instructions that came with it. I wonder if an instruction manual was left out. there was only a single trifold set of instructions included' not a book or a disk as i would have expected

Interesting instrument. Don't know how I've gotten along without it. Great pricing and great delivery. This is not for the ordinary, you have to have the will to explore new horizons with this instrument. It will take you places where you have never gone before, with confidence. I highly recommend this product, especially to travelers.

I bought this unit in December 2006 because we have a new home in Arizona and don't know our way around. The system does not reconize the new streets, freeways and business's that were opened in 2006 which is very frustrating. I'm trying to find out if there is a free upgrade. Otherwise it does allow you to put in a business name and it gives you a list of all locations that you can choose when you don't know the address. That is really cool. If you want a gas station, bank, restarant or point of interest, it's all there. Another great feature is if you go somewhere you can mark the location of your car and it will talk you back if you get lost like at a sporting event, shopping center or if you park far away from where you're going in some strange city or place. In general it doesn't always take the shortest route but you get there. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 9.
