5 out of 5 stars perfect GPS   January 16, 2007
This GPS helped us a lot during our trip to Florida. It is very convenient. Its recalculating speed is very fast. I am completely satisfied with it.

5 out of 5 stars Good Feedback   January 16, 2007
Purchased for my parents (80 years old). They love it. Easy to use, and so far seems to be very accurate.

this is an excellent product! i bought this going to boston from ny, and it got me where i want to go. the text-to-speech is great! it tells you to make turns within 0.3 mi so you wont miss your exit. this GPS ensures you stay on the right lanes for those highways that like to fork/split into 2. The POIs that come with it is not very updated, but still very useful. the only problem that i had was when i went to a very suburban area in boston where the roads were really short/narrow, that i had a little difficulty finding the right roads, but i eventually did.

5 out of 5 stars Great combination product from Garmin   January 15, 2007

We went in with various family members to purchase this item for my Dad this Christmas. Needless to say, it was a hit - probably the first time in a dozen years that we've actually pulled one over on him.
I put in a good deal of research to find a versatile handheld GPS knowing that my Dad had borrowed one in the past. After a while I came to the realization that at this point he needs something with a somewhat larger screen that he could use in the car. Thanks to some good cross-referencing by Amazon and other reviewers I ran across this unit. The key selling and performance points for this product were: portability/size, intuitive interface, storage and expansion, driving features, and certainly cost. The other features such as ability to display photos and play mp3s is fine too. As hinted above, this rating did consider the relationship of features to cost.

5 out of 5 stars Good value   January 15, 2007
Good value - only comment is that when it tries to pronouce street names, often it's wrong. . . just in pronounciation. It pronounces VA-7 (which should be Virginia 7 - as "va seven". It doesn't seem to understand abbreviations. We had a good laugh.
