The Only GPS System for me !!!! November 10, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchase my first Garmin GPS System almost two years ago. Since then, I have purchased two other Garmin Systems for family members. The ease of use and the confidence that comes along with the Garmin Name will give you years of pleasure. But as a parent, the peace of mind this system gives you knowing that your child will never be lost in the middle of nowhere and not know how to get back. Well I don't have to tell you that alone makes it worth it's weight in gold. A truely exceptional product.
great November 9, 2008 I love the Garmin 350. It is really easy to use and it is just the right size.
Fast Directions... Reliable... EASY to Use November 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my father who isn't the best with technology but him and my mom can now use the easy interface that Garmin provides. The directions are very fast and recalculate within seconds if anything goes wrong like if you miss the turn. The text to speech is good because it allows you to drive without dangerously staring at the screen to tell where to turn. The only hitch is that the volume could be louder, my dad has a little trouble sometimes especially if you listen to music.
Garmin nuvi 350 is the way to go! November 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My daughter told me she wanted a Garmin nuvi for her birthday and, not being one to take anybody's word for it, I decided to check into GPS units myself to see if there was a big difference. When it comes to the technology, I found that the nuvi is every bit as good as units costing a lot more. I decided on the nuvi 350 due to the features, the biggest one being the text to speech. The 350 actually announces the proper street/route name allowing the driver to stay focused on the road instead of looking at the screen. This is a must have feature for a relatively small, portable unit. When you do need to look at the screen (when entering your destination, etc. not to mention that, dang it, gizmos are just so much fun...) it is very easy to read and navigate around due to the touch sensitive screen. A lot of data is available at a glance, and the nuvi very rapidly calcules a new route if you deviate from the original one. Everything needed is right in the box, just plug it in and go. My daughter could probably give a lot more reasons but anyone who is concerned about the safety of their family should look into this unit. For the features and the price, I'm convinced: the Garmin nuvi 350 is a keeper.
A Little Piece of Heaven November 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product has been very easy to use! The variety of functions is great. It has proven very helpful in many situations and I've only taken it on 2 trips, so far.
