I have only had one problem with this unit. I tried to find 1 Ironbridge and the unit changed the address to 4100. Garmin told me the address was not in their map. I find that difficult to understand, since the property has been there for quite some time.

I bought the Garmin Nuvi 660 for a cross-country road trip and it was a tremendous help. It helped me locate restaurants, shops, and hotels, too. The add-on friction mount is great for putting it right where you need and making it easy to hide away when you head indoors during a rest stop. Theft of these has become a problem so I highly recommend the purchase of the friction mount, too. The larger screen of the 660 is very easy to read. I also use the blue tooth connection with my cell phone and can talk hands-free via the Nuvi with the add-on microphone while driving. I would definitely recommend this to anyone searching for a good GPS for their car.

CITY THAT IS 50 MILES AWAY AND EXPECT ME TO KNOW WHERE IT IS,NOW I DO. AFTER YOU GET IT YOU HAVE TO LEARN LITTLE QUIRKS LIKE YOU ARE ON THE
TURN INSTEAD OF WHAT IS SHOWS ON THE MAP. JUST LISTEN TO WHAT IT SAYS
AND YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM,THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION.

The Garmin nuvi 660 Pocket Vehicle GPS Navigator has is worth the price and has made several trip for myself much easier. It speaks out the streets and recalculates wrong turns. It has saved me the aggravation of dealing with maps especially when driving alone. I was also able to hook up my Blue Tooth phone system which has made talking on the phone in the car safer and easier. I recommend this system.
Best User Friendly GPS October 20, 2007
Have had my Garmin Nuvi 660 for several months now. Having tried two other brands. Wish I had listened to others, and started out by buying this one. It is so easy to use! I really like the clear screen and I changed the male voice which pronounces names of streets much clearer than the womans voice. This GPS has all the needed features, and a few extras. All very easy to use. Can't ask for anything more.
