Worked like a charm on my recent trip down Chesapeake Bay...except did not find St Mary's College, neither St. Mary's City!
Very handy concerning distance, time of arrival etc.
Does not show North, but that's what we have the sun or the moon for...
Love the big bright screen and day and night settings.

I have never owned a GPS before. I was amazed how accurate this item is. If you stop on a set of tracks, It will show you are stooped on the tracks. I can't believe they are so easy to use. It could have had a better manual for dirrections. But, common sense helps a lot. Just type in the address or street and it will take you there. If you decide not to follow the route planned. It will tell you right away. Very large screen to read. I would suggest this to anyone. I bought two of them. One for me & one for my Dad. UNBELIEVABLE

Works great and is portable between vehicles. No mater how many time you screw up, it never gets irritated and just recalculates and new solution.

We got the TomTom One XL for our daughter. She does lots of traveling with her job. She loves it. So, we got us one too. One of the best features that this has that some of the others don't, is that you can have multiple stops or side trips in your intinerary before you get to your final destination. Before we gave it to her I programmed in her entire next trip, from the time she left home, going to seven different stops, and three different hotel stays, and added a few things in between that we hadn't planned on, then back home. Great product!!!!
