It does what it's supposed to. Plus it's much more durable than the one that was included with the Nuvi, and broke almost immediately!

Don't get me wrong, I think the cord is fantastic. Really helps to have this when I want to take my Nuvi in another car since mine is practically hard wired in my truck. So why the 3 stars? The price is absolutely absurd. This this is the same glorified cell phone charger that you can find on eBay for $5, but of course it being Garmin, they have to squeeze you for $30 and that I don't find to be a good value, but I needed it so thems the breaks...
