5 out of 5 stars GolfLogix GPS   April 14, 2008
Unit works as promised and great help on the course! I recommend it to anyone wanting a high quality unit at a good price. Easy to use when downloading course info and when on the course.

5 out of 5 stars Accurate, Easy to use, Great price   April 11, 2008
Couldn't justify Spending $300+ on a GPS, but couldn't resist this one for $184.

I've used it on three different course so far and it's worked great without a hitch. Easy to set up, and locks onto a signal in less than a minute every time. Highly recommeded.

5 out of 5 stars GARMIN GolfLogix GPS.....Awesome!!!!   April 9, 2008

Wow! The GolfLogix GPS is just awesome! I've had the unit for about a month now and have played 20 rounds with it on 12 different golf courses in the Northern California/Central Valley area. And it has worked flawlessly.

My rounds played are much shorter. I have a lot more confidence in the club that I am choosing and in turn you start making better decisions in what kind of shot to hit because of the accurate yardage it gives you (to the green, hazards, etc.).

This uses AA batteries, but make sure that you buy a good brand of alkaline batteries (Duracell, Energizer). It will last longer for you...easily 3 rounds or more. And don't put it in your pocket or bag while you're playing because it loses the satellite signal. It needs a clear view of the sky to get a good signal. The signal will come back pretty quick, but it might slow down your round. Also, the signal that I had was always constant. I never lost it at anytime that I played.

And the Price.... you just cannot beat the price here on Amazon.com. Just about every golf site or golf pro shop that I've been to, it has gone for $330 - $350. I bought mine when the price was $182.95 ...what a deal!!! Bottom line is if you play a lot of golf (like me!) or just love playing this game and would like one of the best golf aids out there....go buy the GARMIN GolfLogix GPS unit. You won't be sorry that you did.

much better and easer to use than Sky Caddie. Batteries last at least 20 hours.

5 out of 5 stars Great golf tool   April 7, 2008
This gadget has been a great assist, no more looking for yardage markers. It is accurate and easy to use. I like it better than the other one on the market.
