An official Panasonic replacement battery is $40; this battery is $20 delivered. They function exactly the same: a Panasonic battery was included with my camera, so I rotate the two batteries.

Works identically to the Panasonic battery that came with the camera. I get at least three hours of use from the battery. It works perfectly in my FZ-18K.
