not all there January 21, 2008 Pleased with the price & shipping. However in the discription of the product it said it came with a wall charge which it did not. Also there was a rebate which the discription said the form would be in the box. It wasn't. Next time I'll go to a store where I can view the product and see what I'm getting.

Navigon 5100 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator Very nice GPS shows lanes on expressway and tells you the street name. The traffic seems to work. The unit is a little quiet and slow to see get initial signal. Well worth the money.
Great Value January 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So far I have had my Navigon for a little over a month and am quite pleased with it. The traffic updates surprisingly came in handy, and the points of interests did as well. A few cons, which were pretty consistent with what I read when I was researching it, it initially takes a bit of time to pick up a GPS signal at times as much as 2-3 minutes. I have also had problems finding certain points of interest but as I understand an update is to be made available early this year and should take care of alot of that. Lastly, the voice at times seems somewhat quiet in comparison to some of the competition. Again, these are all things I read on others reviews so no surprises. Overall their customer service is terrific, and I am very satisfied with my Navigon.
Good value January 18, 2008 The unit works well, although the power button is clumsy to use and I dislike the bracket for attaching it to the windshield. I bought a Navamat that enables me to remove the unit from sight more easily. The screen size is adequte and the points of information listed are impressive. The real-view of exits with road signs is also impressive. The real time traffic is limited by the broadcast availability of stations reporting. In the NYC metro area there are few stations available that do broadcast this information. Programming is easy once you get the hang. I haven't found a function that cannot be adjusted that needs to be. They apparently have thought of it all. I bought the unit on sale with a rebate and for the $200 final cost can't beat it.
What a great product! January 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This GPS is fantastic. Accuracy is an understatement. I even used it in Sumner National Forest. It clearly showed FS roads and unmarked roads. The voice commands were very helpful, not just saying to turn right, but to "turn right onto W. Oak St", etc. The display is a little small and the key take some getting used to. The POI were helpful, but I'd like to see more. The unique "Reality View" sets this unit apart and the free traffic info for life is a big plus. After looking at Garmin Magellan and Mio in stores, this is clearly a great choice. Other great features are the speed alerts on the interstate, your current speed, altitude and day/nite mode. The mounting bracket will withstand a nuclear blast. Watch for sales on this unit and you will not be disappointed.
