Had a model before this one - not that great - this one is really nice as it tells you the street to turn onto. I like this also because it does not have all the extra stuff that you never use anyway. Just a real nice basic function unit. Saved me from getting lost a lot of times and it is easy to take with you when traveling. Highy recomment this unit

Used the Garmin for the first time on a vacation trip. We had just received the Garmin the day before our trip so there was no time play with it before the trip. Read the instructions on the plane, plugged it in when we rented the car and my wife who has trouble reading maps became an instant navigator. It worked great. Very easy to use and understand. We had no problems for the week we were in South Florida. Also a great price from Amazon!

As someone that has never used a GPS before I would say this one is very good! Very easy to use and other people have told me the same thing compared to their GPS systems. The only thing that is an issue and it may be with all GPS so who knows...when there are alot of different roads around on the map ( congested areas) its hard to tell where it is pointing you and the GPS will get a little confused almost like it does not know where you are. All in all you end up making an extra turn here and there and you find your way so no biggy. Better than being lost completely. Overall I do recommend this GPS!
