This is great - the first GPS we have ever had (62 years old). No more looking at maps! It names the streets, which is nice, and if you get off course it recalculates a new one for you. One of the most useful things we have ever purchased. We are in Florida for a couple months and have had no problem finding our way around.

a NICE UNIT IF YOU GET IT FOR UNDER 250.00. Nice bright screen. Should come with a case & ac charger. Battery life seems to be about 3 hrs, depending on briteness & volume level. Worst function is the tinny sounding speaker & it can take 2-3 mins to get sattelite sometimes. Routing is typical Garmin logical most of the time. Good poi's but they all seem to leave out poi's that you just assume would be in there.

I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 260 for my daughter who is directionally challenged. She has had it a couple of weeks and loves it. It is very easy to use and she really likes the way it names the streets to turn on. I got her a carry case also which makes it very handy to take out of the car and carry on her person. I would buy again.

Nice and small, and easily fits in purse.
We just took it to Hawaii, and it was extemely helpful.
I think it is very important to have the street names announced. That is what sold me on this unit.
Very user friendly.

This GPS does all the things I need it for and nothing more and the price is just right. I am very happy with the product.
