I love this product so much!!!! I am directionally challenged, so this is a must have for me. it tells you where tio turn (the street names and the distance). It is great!!!
NUVI 260 - Great cust serv February 18, 2008
This GPS is very easy to use. I had a question about setting something up, all I had to do was call Garmin and they walked me through it right over the phone plus gave me some tips on how to use it. Very good cust serv.

I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 260 well in advance of a planned cross country move, feeling I would need it also when I got to a new state. I did some research on different models and different brands, and read all customer reviews before deciding this might be the right one for me. I was delighted to find that after a mere 10 minutes (maybe less!) I was able to use all functions easily. One small drawback, as reported by another reviewer - the suction mount for the windshield does not hold after a while in the heat in Florida.
Any first time buyer of a navigation unit (or one who's technically challenged) would not be disappointed in this item.

The Garmin Nuvi 260 works great for me. I'm an "electronically challenged" grandma & find it simple to program & operate. The screen is a little small, but I rarely have to look at it. Directions are loud and clear enough for me that I don't get stressed out. Sometimes directions are a little off, but I'm told that's true w/ all GPSs. Wish it came w/ carrying case. Glad I bought a Garmin portable friction mount for my Nuvi so I can easiy remove or tuck my GPS out of sight when necessary.

Great product. worked as advertised. the great advantage is finding grocery stores, etc in unfamialar areas.
