GREAT GPS NAVIGATOR May 8, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great GPS system. I am extremely happy with the unit. I am still learning all of the functions and options. I have had only one problem and that was with my cell phone and not the navigator. TomTom should publish a list of the phones that are data compatible with the navigator. After receiving it I discovered that my phone was not data compatible and had to purchase a new one. When you are only purchasing a cell phone they become quit expensive.
Disappointed May 8, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Expectations were high after replacing my older 910 with the new 920T (old one got stolen). Despite the compacter design and some added features, I am very disappointed in my new TomTom. The mounting bracket keeps dropping from the windshield (the old one had a locking feature); the remote control has to reconnect almost every time the unit is switched on (looses connection when you accidently hit a button when TomTom is not started up yet); worst of all: battery life is 30 minutes to one hour (I always have to use that long/clumsy cable), there is no way the unit is reaching the 4~5 hours quoted by TomTom (it appears that TomTom has used a new type, more compact battery); no carrying case included (can't believe that you pay $450 for a device and there is no $10 carrying case included!?). This was my last TomTom.
TomTom 920 T A great tool!! April 20, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've had my 920T about a month now and love it. I'm in commercial real estate and often have to view a dozen or more properties a day for research. The itinerary feature is something I didn't know the model had until I started using it. It is a real time saver. I especially like the Estimated Time of Arrival projection and the real time traffic updates.
Two complaints; 1.)the subscription traffic service won't work with my phone. TomTom needs to expand the compatible phones to include all the Blackberry & Smart Phones on the market. 2.) The "Travel Via" option should allow Route Numbers to be used to specify a route. That would speed entering information to change your travel route on the fly.
Great Product! April 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm very pleased with the TomTom 920t. Quick satellite acquisition and rerouting. Couldn't ask for much more.

TomTom GO 920T Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator. I am completely satisfied. It is working here in the United States and I can use it in Europa as well.
