 No padding, no protection January 4, 2008
Unlike other Garmin products, including carry cases, this one is beyond cheap...it is useless. It has a built-in plastic tray in the bottom but absolutely no padding. A medium sized camera bag would be far better.

Absolute necessity for the street pilot - fitts everything perfectly and you don't take the chance of dropping the GPS - also can hide it under the seat of the car and no wires or anything showing. I thought it was a little pricey but what isn't??

When I get something I usually want some kind of bag to protect it, but more often to keep all the items that come with it in one place, this bag dose just that, from of course the GPS unit, power DC cord to the computer cable, which IMO is easy to miss place, this bag dose it.

The purpose of this product, in my opinion, is to protect your Garmin StreetPilot GPS when travelling. To do this it is, of necessity, rather small. I like the ability to put my GPS in the bag and then pack the bag in my carry-on when travelling. It is NOT designed to carry the StreetPilot and all its accessories (a rather prevalent complaint). So if you are looking for something that will hold all your GPS stuff, I recommend you buy a small backpack or similar item and not this case.
