5 out of 5 stars Great Product   March 22, 2007

I like my new Garmin and especially like to cycle through the various voices (Emily from the UK is my favorite). And it has all of the local businesses and locations I need to navigate. Also, very easy to enter locations and utilize while I'm driving and multi-tasking.

5 out of 5 stars love my nuvi!   March 21, 2007

I love the little nuvi, and make sure it goes with me whenever I am traveling off of my beaten track. The only trouble it has given me is once it thought I was on surface streets when I was really on an elevated freeway, but it figured it out in a couple of minutes. I love the synthesized voice and the way she pronounces things, very amusing!

5 out of 5 stars A real lifesaver!   March 21, 2007

Great device for the terminally lost! Love that it's so portable. We can pass it from family member to family member, so whoever is driving to an unfamiliar location can use it that day. It also gives the names of small communities I never even knew existed. It's loud enough to be heard clearly over car sounds. It recalculates quickly when you detour, and helps you find the route again. Another plus: it tells you how fast you're going, so you can check to be sure your speedometer is accurate. Even though it was expensive, I wish I'd bought one years ago.

5 out of 5 stars Great product easy to use   March 20, 2007

Just received the Nuvi 350 three days ago and found it easy to use and had fun listening to the pronounciation of some of the Hawaiian street names on the island of Oahu.
I found the names of the streets accurate and precise. Enjoyed using the Nuvi and look forward to using it in New York in the very near future.
Would recommend this instrument to anyone who enjoys travelling and also concerned about traffic safety.
Definitely a worthwhile investment.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect   March 20, 2007

I recently purchased the Nuvi 350 before heading off to New York City and Boston. This GPS unit performed extremely well and did everything I wanted it to. Sure it doesn't come with the little expansion card that gives you reviews for hotels and stuff....but who cares! This item out of the box lets you search any business anywhere, and even gives you the phone number. In large cities it will even tell you where the nearest subway or transit stop is! It only got confused when I tried to navigate NYC's really tight streets (i.e. chinatown) but it got me to the right area. Battery life on this unit is AMAZING....and its SO lightweight. The leather case protects very well, and the unit gets very good reception. In deep parking garages or some places in Times Square it loses signal but that was expected. Pedestrian mode lets you use the Nuvi for walking directions which is great for sight seeing and exploration. The built in SD card reader is great for viewing pictures on the go, and the built in MP3 player is great, with no restrictions (meaning drag and drop capability)! Comes with a car charger, and a very effective suction mount that can be moved from vehicle to vehicle in seconds. All in all the Nuvi 350 is great for the price, and does its job flawlessly.
