GREAT GPS January 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THIS GPS. IT DOES ALL THE THINGS I WANT AND MORE. A FEW THINGS TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO LEARN BUT OVER ALL IT IS GREAT.
rather disappointed January 29, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Greatest disappointment: you can use it only in North America. No Europe or Asia as it was important to me. Otherwise nice on highways with clear view and directions. "Fastest route" will always take you to the nearest highway entrance even if it means going back. Sometimes it will take you off the road just to take you back to it. Watch the map as you drive to monitor it's choice of route. Short battery life, approx. 2 hours, not 6 or 8 as it is officially stated. Poor quality of sound. Not very precise as to address location, off by approx. 4 houses.
Love the free traffic information! January 28, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Everything about this navigation device is great!!! Especially the free traffic report.
One downside though, the volume on the bluetooth device is so low it's basically useless! I guess I have to re-install my parrot bluetooth.
Navigon 7100 January 27, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
After reciving my Navigon I've become an avid user. My first "True Test" will occure in the middle of June thru July/1st August on a 6500 mile west coast trip. I'll update after my trip.
Very satisfied - great unit January 27, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've used Garmin and Magellan and, while all have their pros and cons, the Navigon is the most intuitive, easy to use and (most often) accurate unit I have used. The traffic updates work well and the unit is fast and reliable. No issues to report.
