Bought this item with my Garmin etrex and it only worked for about three weeks.
Garmin accessories ripoff. August 13, 2007
Garmin's apparent business plan:
1. Create a bewildering series of products using the same basic integrated circuits, but different connectors.
2. Ripoff the customers on accessories.
This adapter should sell for less than $25: look elsewhere.
Doesn't fit the Vista CX July 15, 2007
Though the write up stated that this car adapter fits the eTrex Vista it does not fit the eTrex Vista CX. Amazon did give a full refund to include postage.
