Great product... April 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works very well. I like the saved locations feature that allows you to pick places that you've already entered rather than having to enter them in all the time. I also use this unit to calculate my arrival time, even if I know how to get some where already.
For the money spent, I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. I'm, usually, more of a basic person that doesn't need all the bells and whistles. The device delivers just that. You won't be disappointed.
Pleased beyond belief! April 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After reading the feedback from previous buyers of the "refurbished" Garmin Pilot 330C, I ordered my own. I could not be happier with my purchase! Everything from the ordering, to the quick delivery, went as hoped! Would advise anyone to do the same. If you don't want a "very-elaborate" unit, (extra's for cell-phone usage incorp. into it, etc, etc,) this is a very fine to purchase, in my opinion anyway. Would buy this same unit again, without a doubt! 110 % pleased!!
Easy to use April 15, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received this product as a gift and couldn't have been more pleased. I used it for several months, then was lured to a deal on a slim Magellan Maestro. Great, I thought, now I can pass the Garmin along to my perpetually lost sister. Alas, I miss my Garmin. The time of arrival feature is one I miss. Magellan only displays the distance to the destination. I recommend this product to anyone who wants an affordable, easy-to-use GPS.
An Excellent Starter GPS April 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the first GPS I've ever bought and I can find no complaints with this product. The screen is bright and easy to read and the voice commands are loud enough to hear over blaring music and simple enough to follow. While it can take awhile to acquire satellites(probably because I'm usually in motion when I start the unit), is not even really a huge problem in the long run. A good starter GPS for anyone not willing to make a huge monetary commitment. Totally recommended.
Garmin GPS April 11, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I picked the Garmin because my son was enthused about his. Got a refurbished unit (being cheap)and am delighted with it. At a good price, it is a faithful friend to have in the car even if used only occasionally. Nice to not have to pay monthly fees as in the past. I even bought my other son one for Christmas. Some minor problems with software directions (rare), but that is what upgrades and new software installations provide. I am happy with what I have for the price I paid.
