I like driving when I travel and I thought the Tom Tom was the perfect thing to help me find my way. I was not disappointed. Very true to form and easy to use. I had one problem with the 510 however, after 4 months of use it just died. The makers sent me a new version which is just as good if not better but it makes me a bit weary that the same might happen with this version - however it does not rely on a flash card like the last one.
In any event the new one has been working fine and I love it and the whole idea. It has helped me to find restaurants and my way home from them. Really cool. I would give it 5 stars but the first issue causes me to give it 4.

I love it!!! I am completely technically-challenged and got this up and running in a few minutes. The maps are completely up to date. And I have not gotten lost once since I bought it. Great price for what you get.

So far it seems to be doing just fine altho it tried to send us up a farmer's drive that looked like a continuation of a rural road. Otherwise it has given good directions and is relatively easy to use. Have not taken it out of familiar territory yet and am looking forward to using it to really travel later this summer.

I'm very impressed with the ease of use and the acuracy of the data, unfortunately it was a little too up to date on one trip and tried to get me to take a road that was not yet opened (it was scheduled to have been completed 3 months prior to my trip). I was able to select an alternate route elliminating the not yet open road and arrive at my destination.

Easy to use. Compared to the Garmin Street Pilot III, the TomTom is easier to use but disliked the view of current position. Kept having to pan out to see location in relation to next destination. Found the info stored on rest areas was sadly lacking and not useful compared to Street Pilot. Did like being able to schedule an itinerary. The TomTom also doesn't "talk" as much as the Street Pilot. Liked that a lot. All in all its a good tool, but I missed my old Street Pilot.
