Satellite trouble September 16, 2007 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
My wife and I purchased the Garmin 370 to prepare for a two week trip to Italy. Every time we turned on this devise during our stay it took several minutes to find a satellite to locate our position. The maps are accurate, but the service in Europe, or at least northern Italy, is not good. Frankly, I was very disgusted with it's start up time performance.

Great. The ladies accent was not too good in pronouncing Italian place names - but she got us there.
Great GPS Unit September 14, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very easy to use ! Bought this unit for my daughter to use to drive to College. She finds it very useful finding her way around Syracuse with this unit. Easy to update with her PC. Battery Life is long, and Bluetooth for phone a great addition. I am confident she will not get lost, can find gas stations and food easily and safely between school and home. She has become dependent on her "Garmin Nuvi".
Garmin nüvi 370 GPS navigator September 13, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is an excellent unit. Small enough to fit in my shirt pocket, yet holds maps of North America and Western Europe. The receiver is sensitive, the maps are accurate, and the routing works very well. The fact that the traffic message receiver is included is a big plus. TMC works in Europe and the U.S., so this is truly a transatlantic unit.
Never lost in Europe September 12, 2007 We just completed a 2 week trip to Europe and we used this GPS extensively. It worked better than we could have hoped. We did walking tours in 6 different countries and used the points of interest so that we could find where we wanted to go. We are going to add on the travel items that will allow for language translation and then it will be ready for our next trip. We were a little concerned with battery life and the recomendations from the specs that say 6-8 hours. Our experience was closer to 4-6 but we had the display on bright and were doing walking tours, so the unit was on virtually all the time. I didn't find anything that I didn't like.
