1 out of 5 stars More Foot Pain anyone?   October 24, 2008
Yes that's correct, this unhandy little device actually increased my foot pain. I work in a job where I stand 9 hours a day so I was looking for anything that could help.

I'll Keep looking.

The little balls that 'massage' your poor feet actually just gouge into your heel and forefoot while you constantly try and keep your feet centered on this contraption.

HoMedics usually makes little miracle machines however this isn't one of them. 1-Star; returned for refund.

1 out of 5 stars Foot Massager   October 3, 2008
After trying this product, I used it and then went to bed shortly after. I awoke and felt kind of dizzy and like my equilibrium was off. It felt awful and I haven't used it since. It did not say it would do anything like that. I have used products from Homedics before and never had a problem. I won't use it again.
Thank you.
Claire McDowell

1 out of 5 stars get what you pay for   September 30, 2008
weak motor, can basically stop it from moving by merely putting average pressure on it. 30 bucks is about as cheap as you can find a foot massager for. If you are small and lightweight it will probably be adequate but for anyone over 100 lbs it will not be satisfactory.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product if used properly   September 21, 2008
I love this foot massager. I bought it because I read the review one woman wrote about her husband, a cop, using it for relief. I also read the reviews about it breaking or not working very well, and discovered that it's not meant for you to put all your weight on it. I sit so my thighs are supported, and let my feet dangle and use the rest treads on either side to rest parts of my feet so the little motors don't work overtime.

I am training in Akido for my Mixed Martial arts style and my feet and legs hurt horribly when I am done. I use it for ten minutes in my sock feet every other day or twice a week and the pain is relieved. My feet and legs are also getting better, much less pain and swelling. (Don't know if that's the Akido or the machine, maybe it's both) I also noticed that the infrared is healing the scarring I have there from doing other sports. I recommend this to anyone for therapuetic relief of foot and leg pain. Just don't let your weight rest completely on the little pads and it lasts longer. I love it!!!!!! This was an answer to prayer.

4 out of 5 stars Keep your socks on   September 1, 2008
Especially if you are heavy. It works well on your feet this way. Barefoot makes it strain. im 112 pounds and its great. Get it if your under 150 and wear socks when you use it. Its not cheap Chinese crap its well made and sturdy.
