I never used the book. I ended up sending it back because I paid extra for next day delivery and ended up getting the book later than was expected. It was for a class and I didn't get it in time so I dropped the class and returned the book. I was a little upset about paying the extra money for next day delivery and I still did not get the book on time!
 Good Presentation of QBPro 2008 August 29, 2008
This book is a useful tool in understanding QuickBooks-Pro 2008. It is quite comprehensive in coverage. But it excludes any coverage of the QuickBooks-Pro Class feature, or any coverage of filing Tax Reports (most notably a quarterly 941, W-2s or 1099s). But otherwise the book covers almost every feature of QuickBooks Pro 2008. It tries to balance presenting the software's features, against the various different levels of accounting knowledge that a user may possess. I could argue that way too much time is spent creating portable back-up files (for EVERY SINGLE exercise...). But overall, I found the book a useful guide for the more detailed features of QuickBooks-Pro 2008.

This book was a great way to learn QuickBooks Pro 2008! It was easy to follow and actually had real life applications! Also, it came with the trial software-how perfect! The text also comes with a data CD, an online learning center, and the link to the author's blog. Really the perfect tool for trying to master QuickBooks!
