Item received was as stated and was delivered very quickly. In fact I received an email stating my order had just been shipped, but I had already received the cable and had it in use. Go figure!

This item was exactly as described and works just like it is designed to. It's only 3' which limits how far away from the computer you can sit the video camera. But this length was perfect for me, that's why I went with this size. The transfer is is great and easy, my computer detected it immediately and gave me options for transferring. The quality was great too. I highly recommend this FireWire!!! Good luck and have fun!

there is no much to say about a cable, just that the brand is good, the only thing is that the lenght is quite short for my expectations but it is ok.

Just plug in and it works. The cable looks well made, the data transfer is fine from my camcorder to my notebook computer. Plus, you can't beat the price.

I have been involved in electronics for 35 years and I just cannot believe how much people are paying for cable connections these days just because the product comes nicely packaged and the cables look thick which is just lots of foam used to fool you. Believe me, they are all the same and the pretty gold colored connector is not going a bit of difference.
Whether it's going to be used to connect your sound system, High Definition TV or Blu-Ray DVD you should not be paying between $50 and $100 for a cable that cost a couple of dollars to make. I would recommend this product to anyone who is not looking to get taken by retailers selling this same item for five to ten times its value.
This cable worked as advertised and the cheapest one I found locally was $30.00 plus 7% tax. I have no hesitation in purchasing this cable over all other
