This product works just like it says. Lets you add a couple firewire ports to your laptop using the PCMCIA ports.

It doesn't work. I hooked it up, and lost all my data on my external hard drive after installing this product. DO NOT BUY. Very disappointing.

I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT I RECEIVED FROM TIGER.
IT WAS NOT WHAT I WANTED AND TO RETURN IT WOULD COST ME MORE THAN I PAID FOR IT.
THE COMPANY CHARGES TOOOOO MANY FEES.
I AM VERY UNHAPPY & NOW I HAVE A PRODUCT THAT I CAN'T USE OR RETURN.

It didn't work. When I try to transfer video from my Camcorder to my laptop, there is no image neither sound in my lap. According to the manufacturer's laptop technical support staff, the problem is with the cheapest cards. I stongly recommend to buy a well known brand name card.
