The Monster XPHP-CI cable makes a big difference at any volume, but it really shines when you are pushing allot of sound at once, especially bass. This is my second roll from Amazon and it will be used for my 7.1 sorrounds (POLK Rti-6). The cable itself is pretty heafty and I would suggest you have a nice pair of wire splicers on hand for a clean cut. Also, the price through Amazon was the best next to Ebay.

Excellent build Quality. I would strongly recommend this cable for all your speaker connections especially if you are running your speaker wire through the walls. Reproduces excellend sound; probably the best speaker cable in this price range.

Being a tech geek of sorts, I always want the best (I can afford) in gear
for either home use or musical instrument use. I've always used Monster Cable
products, and in developing my home cinema room, I had to have the best. The
Monster XPHP-CI speaker cable is great cable. The sound I am getting is a
noticeable improvement over older Monster cable of similar gauge. Whatever
they improved on, it was the real deal. Crystal clear, near perfect sound.
My only reservation on Monster is using their audio/video cable for the
components. Their new "turbine" wound tips on the RCA plugs are too tight.
Other than that, they are still the best. For speaker cable, definitely go
with the XPHP-CI!

Nice beefy stuff. It has a thread inside the CL jacket so it is easy to strip back...you just pull on it to cut the jacket. The speaker wire inside is well insulated and the conducter is high quality.
