Quality product August 28, 2008 I bought this product in Apr'2006. I am giving the review now only. I bought this to connect my computer / laptop to CRT TV. It worked so well for almost 2 yrs. Will recommend. Now I have LCD TV. So moved to DVI to HDMI.
Good cable, good price February 8, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this cable when I thought that s-video would carry both audio and video. It doesn't. As with all S-video cables, this one only carries video. I was going to use it as a temporary across-the-room cable. I ended up using Cables To Go - 17916 - 25ft Value Series RCA-Type Audio Video Cable (Black) to temporarily run A/V across the living room.
This 25' s-video cable replaced the long video line running to my TV. Sound takes another route. The cable is of perfectly good quality and I really like the price. I can't tell if the picture is better. A dust rag to the TV screen produces more tangible results.
Well-Made Cable July 26, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I needed an S-video cable to output video from my Powerbook to my TV, and this cable certainly did the job. I had been using a shorter RCA plug and the difference in quality was noticable, as was to be expect. S-video provided a clearer, more rich image compared to the RCA cables I was using.
This 4-pin cable is constructed well, and feels sturdy in one's hands. If you need to output video to a device 25 feet away, this cable works well. Just make sure that a 4-pin cable will fit into whatever device you're using.
