So I read every single review about this product, and since I already have a griffin ipod case I took a chance. I love it! I am going to be spending the summer comuting 2 hours a day in a catering van with only a radio in it, and I'm usually in a kitchen that only has radios (the tape decks and CD players are usually broke) and this thing does what it needs to do! I live in a college town, not a big city so it is easy to find a staion. I dont have to take off my case to use it, which is cool because that was one thing I was worried about. And the best part is, I ordered it on Sunday night, and UPS knocked on my door on Tuesday afternoon!! So, it does what it says it's going to do,it's easy to use, it looks good, and I got it speedy fast, so I say 5 stars!
 Poor sound quality May 10, 2008
Very easy to use, BUT the sound quality is so bad that I can't listen to anything louder than Easy Listening. I wish I had my old FM transmitter back.

I own this for my ipod touch and i havent tested it in my car yet, but i have using my home stereo system w/ FM antenna. The sound quality is good for the price you pay, and the fact that you can change frequencies is a plus. The backlight makes the current settings easy to see in the dark. However, the range is very limited, probably due to this being a low power transmitter or something. If you have no obstructions between this and the antenna, you could easily get 15 ft w/ no static, but anything else and you get so much static you can barely hear the music. I would recommend this regardless because of the low price and the fact that it works fine 80-90% of the time

i was pleased with the time it took to recieve this package the product itself i thought would be better quality. the instructions were confusing and i often have trouble using the product but as for the price you get what you pay for

I just got my itrip in the mail just now. i tried it on my car and.. booyah! the quality is awesome. can't tell the difference from the cd. i don't know why many are saying it isn't good and you'll just end up wasting your time and money. maybe it's just because i don't live near the city. all in all it really is a good buy. cheap price... good audio quality... what else can you ask for??
