I love the nano!! November 18, 2008 I really like the nano, it holds a lot of songs and has great sound quality!
Lovin' it November 18, 2008 I finally broke down. I had two mp3 players before this. One decided to be defective 3 times and the other died within 3 months. My one big issue with the others was the creation of playlists. People who have had iPods don't know how lucky they are to have iTunes. As soon as I plugged it in it scanned my computer for music and put it all into iTunes. Creating playlists was ridiculously easy and hey, I actually could create more than one... vs. one of the other players I had. It even found some of the songs that my Windows Media Player was too stubborn to play.
The accelerometer is indeed a pain at times, but with all these benefits... I really don't care. If you don't plan on changing your songs immediately, put the hold button on and it won't change. This works well if you just want to run straight through a playlist or whatever else. It isn't exactly hard to move the hold button. I did have the problem with it changing over and then not changing the volume. Again, when comparing it to any other mp3 player, this one tops them. I didn't have the 3rd generation nano so I can't really compare the two, but if this is the only hassle... then I'll just suck it up.
The style and color are pretty. How thin it is is nice (though you may have to check a few times in trying to find it in a purse. The screen size is excellent and I couldn't be happier.
Nay sayers...die November 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
No seriously, they shouldn't die.....may be wait a few months before passing judgement. I think the product is solid. It weighs much less, thinner and the display alone justifies the price you pay. If you don't want the screen to move. Lock it. If you lock it, it won't move, simple. The battery life is enough. For me at least, it's enough for me to play it at work for an entire shift and take it for a run after. If you are playing video, of course it will suck up the battery much faster. But to me, that's logical. Don't expect to last longer. Plan accordingly and take a cable with you. As far as attachments, what did you expect, may be a microwave to go along with you new ipod. What about we go back to 8-tracks or how about we start using VHS intead of DVD, wait lets just go back to cassette tapes intead of CD. Yeah that's a fine idea. Let's just move forward and spend a few bill for new attachments and sell the old ones on eBay. In my humble opinion, its a great improvement for the price, especially if you buy the 4GB for $129.
Apple Ipod Nano 4th Gen November 17, 2008 I own three Mp3 players and the Apple Ipod Nano 4th Gen is my favorite. My others are Samsung YZ and Sansi Rhapsody.....The Nano is very easy to use and read....Love it!!
Great November 17, 2008 This ipod is really cool. I was only disappointed with how it was shipped. Usually Amazon is quick with the shipping process but wit hthis product, it took a while
