5 out of 5 stars Better than any other I've tried   November 16, 2008
I had tried out other FM transmitters in the same price range and found that they all could barely put out a signal. I would either get straight static or just so much interference that I couldn't listen to it. However THIS FM transmitter provides sound with NO static and NO interference. I was really impressed!

5 out of 5 stars Works well.   November 6, 2008
I find this useful in the area northwest of Boston and southern New Hampshire. I have been able to define two channels which cover my needs.

Adjacent station rejection is much better than an other unit which I bought and returned at a local store.

Makes listening to audio books on tape much more pleasant.

1 out of 5 stars what a waste of money   October 13, 2008
I bought this product to use with my Walkman MP3 player. It worked all of twice. Now, when I plug it in to my cigarette lighter, auxilliary jack, it makes a loud tone and turns itself off. So I learned a $35 lesson. I was going to buy a pricier transmitter and thought I would save myself some money because I trusted the other reviews. I would definitely pass this item up and fork out the bucks for something with a more trusted name. By the way, I wouldn't have given it any stars but the site forced me to give it one.

3 out of 5 stars its ok   September 17, 2008
i was really excited to get a thing that i could play my ipod in the car. but there are two problems with this product. the number 1 problem is the channel screen is really hard to read on the transmitter. second when the station you pick for the transmitter starts to pick up another station, then your music cuts in and out. it is an ok product

4 out of 5 stars FM transmitter does the job   September 14, 2008
After reviewing online a number of FM transmitter products, I was concerned about finding one that actually works in an urban area (in this case the Boston area), since there are very few available FM frequencies. I was mildly surprised to find that this product works pretty good. I'm using it with my MP3 player (Creative Zen) and though occasionally there is a slight interference, it does the job. Just remember it is an FM broadcast so you are not going to get high fidelity and any low FM radio transmissions (I chose 88.1) will get blocked by this device. At one point when I was removing the device, I was suprised to hear a radio station broadcast on that frequency, so this device does a pretty good job of sending a strong signal.
Pros - Finds available freqencies, strong signal to block radio station transmissions, lighted display of frequency used.
Cons - High price
