5 out of 5 stars This cool little gizmo really works---   November 12, 2008
Works right out of the box. Very compact.... the remote control battery holder was a little hard to open and it looks like I need to change the battery but I really like this and am ordering a second one.

5 out of 5 stars Very good for your bedroom   October 1, 2008
I bought it last week and I like it very much! If you put the volume too loud, it won't sound pretty... But I put it at the head of my bed, and listen to it every night when I am sleeping. The light music with a small volume will create a wonderful sound quality.

Strongly recommend!

4 out of 5 stars It's what you'd expect for the price...   July 31, 2008
I didn't want anything too fancy. It's primary use is at my desk at a very low volume. It's perfectly sized for my desk and holds my iPod Touch perfectly. I read about the controls being 'difficult' in previous reviews- not so much difficult as unnecessary. You have to simultaneously push 2 buttons to either raise or lower the volume- and it does so rather rapidly.

The remote is useful once you get accustomed to the buttons differing from the traditional iPod wheel. However, the remote does not always work right away (you may have to push the button several times to get it to recognize).

The sound is perfect at low volumes. It gets rather distorted the louder you get...

All in all its what I expected for the price. I recommend it for anyone looking for a cheap desk speaker and intend to play it mostly at low volumes...

2 out of 5 stars Disappointed   July 22, 2008
I had hoped I found the right speakers for my iPod Touch, but this device was not it. The sound quality was very poor, and the remote worked if I was standing at the device. I sent it back very quickly.

4 out of 5 stars Is okay.   June 15, 2008

Is okay for in-home background music while a dinner party finds its way to a generally pleasant conclusion. This device is a perfectly fine way to play an iPod so every guest can admire your musical taste and venturesome attitude. Great sound system? Please rein in unrealistic expectations. It's a couple of plastic disks with grills. It's good for the modest task at hand. You would, for instance, amaze the guy in the airplane seat next to you.
