3 out of 5 stars Good sound and distance   November 1, 2008
I can get pretty far from the base and get good sound. They are really bulky though.

4 out of 5 stars Sennheiser RS 130 Wireless Surround Sound Headphones   October 25, 2008
Although I'm not an audiophile by any means, I rate these as good headphones for their intended purpose.

I use them to listen to music and NPR from my computer while I'm in the backyard, and I find there are plenty of dead or "hissy" areas, but it beats dragging around 150' of cord... Perhaps I am also getting interference from my wireless phone, wireless LAN, fluorescent lights, computer monitor, electric fan, etc. which are all in fairly close proximity to the headphone transmitter. The sound quality is not what you would find in high-end corded headphones, with somewhat muted bass and treble ends of the sound spectrum, but then I doubt anyone else can do better right now since I understand that wireless technology is just not there yet. (I'm not sure if these are digital or analog, nor if that would make a difference in the quality of sound transmission.) They are nice and light, but here in the tropics the ear pieces can become uncomfortably warm and sweaty, as any headphones will; the breathable velour-like padding is better than vinyl, though.

The bottom line is this: As far as wireless headphones go, I doubt you could do better. You just have to lose the expectation that these will compare favorably with a good set of wired headphones, as far as acoustics are concerned.

5 out of 5 stars great sound   October 18, 2008
I bought these headphones for my husband for tv use. I like the fact that they are rechargeable and have an exceptional sound. They fit very well. The last set he used needed batteries every two weeks, so these are great for me also. I would recommend these headphones to any one who wants to hear the tv without the whole house having to listen too.

5 out of 5 stars can U hear me now   October 10, 2008
I enjoy the freedom of movement while listening to my playlist. I have a range of about 150 feet outside my home( in a county setting). Quility is great and wieght is ok.

5 out of 5 stars Sennheiser Wireless Headphones(RS 130)   October 8, 2008
These headphones are awesome-they exceeded my expectations. My wife and I use them when we're on the treadmill; but realized I can wear them anywhere around our house or out in the yard, and still get crystal clear reception. Highly recommend if shopping for wireless headphones!
