Great combo April 30, 2008 Yep, it replaced my USB Keyspan Vista remote control. I like the fact that you can customize the buttons on both the remote and the mouse which is tilt and span. Love it, looks great, works great. 3-1 product
Great ideas, poor functionality. March 28, 2007 I bought this because of the remote control. The small size of the keyboard is great and the mouse is a nice small size for my small hands. Lots of features .... but they all stopped working after a couple of days. I tried everything including uninstalling the driver and re-installing, but the remote and all of the soft-keys will only work for a couple of days at a time. I have to reset them constantly. Too bad. It would've been great if it worked.
If you look on the Logitech website, you'll see that they don't sell it anymore. Too many bugs, I think. Hopefully they will work out the bugs and re-release it or something like it. Pretty please?
High convenience at a low cost December 29, 2006 First off, the remote alone is worth 5 stars. I have all of the (7 programmable I believe) buttons customized to exactly what I need. When I hit "Media" on the remote, my "Movies" folder pops up and I can scroll with the remote and open, close, and minimize/maximize any movie in the folder, much less pause, fast-forward...etc. Sometimes when Windows XP crashes, I have to use this button to reset Window's Explorer.
Secondly, I actually bought this set because of the sole reason of the "Shuffle" button on the right-hand side of the keyboard. I just press the programmable "Music" button located at the top right-hand side of the keyboard, press play with the button below it, then hit Shuffle! It's very easy and adds to my laziness. Good.
Battery life is wonderful and the set is extremely good for switching between your monitor and a TV. It makes watching movies on your computer (or whatever screen) very easy. I actually ditched the mouse because I like my IntelliMouse better (or maybe my hand just got used to the shape). I used to hook my computer up to my TV to play PC games with the wireless keyboard/mouse and I never had any issue with lag or connectivity. Highly recommended product-I will buy more from Logitech in the future.
logitech products November 3, 2006 THIS KEYBOARD, MOUSE AND REMOTE CONTROL ARE FIRST CLASS AS ARE ALL LOGITECH PRODUCTS OF WHICH I HAVE QUITE A FEW! HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND THE PRICE WITH REBATE WAS GREAT.
A neat accessory November 2, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very easy to set up. Downside is that lots of special keyboard features don't work in my XP environment or seem to affect other functions. I'm not posting details on what these are because I've given up trying to fix this.
