The aspect ratio of the screen doesn't match the aspect ratio in the picture you see on the listing, so the device "does its best" to make the pictures fit, with discouraging results. It's like having a nicely-colored comic-book collection of your vacations and family; nothing you really want to show off.
I think you'd be better off just using the screen-saver on your computer, or putting pictures on your PDA, or using a DVD player... I can't really see why anyone would buy this.
Oh well.
