5 out of 5 stars Saunders Rhinoskin metal case: Great for holding the Palm TX   August 16, 2008
This is a fine product that has served me very well for over 9 months now. For some reviews that I have seen below, I can't even believe that we are talking about the same product.

1) It is extremely well made (with the metal always quite cool to the touch)

2) It has numerous cutouts for various cables, insertion of memory cards, charging cable, etc.

3) It is very easy to open and close (and stays safely closed when it needs to be closed).

4) It also has a fine attachment mechanism within the case (A thin piece of plastic which readily slides on to the T/X and keeps it snugly and safely within the case at all times except when it is purposely removed for using in a cradle, etc. I have had absolutely no problems using this sliding mechanism at all (It does take a few minutes to fully grasp the attachment mechanism process).

Perhaps the only deficiency that I am aware of from other user reviews is that some don't think that the belt clip (which I don't use anyway) attaches snug enough to a belt and could slip off.

1 out of 5 stars OMG! DO NOT BUY!   July 12, 2008

I normally don't take the time to submit a review.
In this case however, I feel obligated to do so.
This is by far one of the worst purchases I have ever made.
Here's why.....
The contraption is far too bulky.
The case's enclosing is unbearable, takes a good minute or so to open it.
The texture of the material feels like a cheap toy.
The overall design is horrible, something I could make in my basement.

For the love of everything sacred, do not buy this thing.

3 out of 5 stars OK Case   July 7, 2008

As far as protection goes this thing is good. Other than that it is a bit cumbersome to open- the release tab seems like it would work better on the other half.

4 out of 5 stars Does a good job   May 12, 2008
I've had this about one month. My Palm has stayed secure within this case. It opens easily. It is not a 100% enclosure; there are cut outs for cable connection, card, sound, so there is a slight potential for damage.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect hard case   May 8, 2008
This case is perfect for protecting my Palm TX. The cutouts for the power plug and the power button are really great. The closer works well, once you get used to opening it--some times it can be a little tricky. But all in all, this is the perfect hard case--it fits like a glove.
