5 out of 5 stars Great product. Love the Expansion slot for microSD.   October 6, 2008
With the expansion slot. you have a unlimited source of music by just adding another chip of music. With the price of 2 gb micro chips you can increase the size just by adding the chip and with more chips of different genes listen to all kinds of music.

4 out of 5 stars Good portable player   October 6, 2008
It's a very good mp3 player, just that to put photos you most have to converted to it's own format.

5 out of 5 stars Forget Ipod, Get this!!   October 3, 2008
Seriously, like the title says, forget about ipod. I purchased one on these babys from amazon for 30 bucks! being a college student paying my own tuition, i didnt have enough money for an ipod, except the shuffle, which is still more expensive, doesn't hold as many songs, and doesnt even have a screen. I suggest buying a 2 gig micro sd card along with this 2 gig mp3 player. Then, just put all your songs on the sd card and leave the player space for movies and pictures. Awesome product!!!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Purchase   September 30, 2008
What a great little MP3 player. I am extremely satisfied with my Sansa e250. It is packed with an easy to use interface and a lot of great features like the radio record feature or the expandable memory. Putting music on it is very easy with Window's Media Player you just set up the list of songs you want on it and hit the sync button - very easy! Sleek, compact, and a nice screen are just a few of the bonuses for the Sansa e250. I strongly recommend this mp3 player to anyone wanting a player with a lot better features than the cookie cutter IPods that are priced way higher than this model.

5 out of 5 stars Doesnt quite lose a star for the little flaws...   September 29, 2008

I've had my e250 for a full two years now. Overall, it's been the most reliable piece of electronics I've ever owned. It's put up with all sorts of abuse (both physical and software). Of course it has frozen a few times, but reset right back to normal. In Short:

Pros:
-Good Battery life (still holds 12+ hours charge after 2 years)
-Good Sound Quality (at least with my Koss headphones)
-Great Display (even covered with scratches I can still read it under sunlight)
-Durability (ive dropped it, hit it against stuff, and even dipped it in water)
-Support for up to 2gb microSD card (doubled my mp3 capacity for $10)
-Great user community (forums, alternate firmware, etc...)
-Feature-rich (voice recorder and radio both work fine)
-Intuitive controls,Album Art Support, Incredible Price

Cons:
-No native cyrillic/unicode support
-Screen scratches easily (only alters appearance, not usability)
-Dust gets under the screen (again, does not affect usability)
-Slows down when microSD is loaded with music (switching tracks can take 3-5 seconds)
-Annoying "Updating Library" message when using microSD

Notes:
-To reset the sansa when frozen, hold pwr button for 20 seconds.
-Instructions for cleaning dust from under the screen are found on google. Requires a small screwdriver and can of compressed air.

In conclusion, a great product that I will hopefully be using for another 2+ years. Recommended to music affecionados and casual listeners alike.
