good product October 3, 2008 Good product, easy to set up. Definitly better than having 5 remotes to deal with.
great remote October 2, 2008 I think this remote is awesome. I went from tree remotes to one!! easy to use. The hardest part is getting the real model numbers of your devices.
gets the job done in ease October 2, 2008 this is my first high end universal remote so i don't have anything to compare it to, but i can't imagine operations being any easier elsewhere. you just touch one single button if you want to watch tv, a dvd, listen to the radio, etc... you don't have to fiddle around switching all the setting on your receiver, then your tv, then the cd player, etc... easy to read and depress buttons as well.
works like a charm October 2, 2008 great product, replaced 4 of my remotes and simplified everything. Only thing that bothers me a little is when I have to hold the remote for 10-15 secs sometimes since I have too many devices to turn on and switch to.
Very capable with a couple of small hiccups September 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this a month ago. Programmed it and everything seemed to be going swimmingly. But then it started developing hiccups. Setting to watch a DVD puts my TV on the wrong video input intermittently. Sometimes it does not change my video input at all. In addition, there could be better Media Center PC compatibility as there is no way to wake it from a sleeping state without using the Microsoft remote. Logitech simply wont do it.
And at times the channel number buttons are hard to press. Other than that the remote is very logically laid out and it is easy to find the right key. I also like the fact that it seems to know when I am near and light up in the dark. Kind of spooky and cool at the same time.
It has issues that are only small annoyances and do not outweigh the benefits of not having 5 different remotes on my coffee table.
