You can't get the marine bracket any place right now and the unit is useless on a small boat with out one unless you have 3 hands.
don't buy any hand held GPS that doesn't have a bracket, I learned the hard way!

I just got the GPS 76 from a local store, and I must Say that I love it. I have a Garmin GPS 230(Larger, Flush Mounted Boat Unit) and actually acheived better position data because of the WAAS(Wide Area Augmentation System) which will give you correct information as colse as 9feet 95% of the time. Battery Life is Adequate and the Screen is large and easy to read.
