Always hard to tell how well these things work. When's the last time you had a power surge? Frankly, I never have for as long as I can remember. But then again, if I've got 3k worth of electronic gear connected to the wall at this point, I figured it'd be worth the cheap insurance. So far lightning hasn't hit our building, everything plugs into this thing good, and all the parts turn on when I tell them too. What else can I say?

product is by far the best thing i have ran across from monster cable. It holds up to its word when a dehumidifier comes on the tv doesnt have lines, when a hair dryer is in use it doesnt have lines. The list goes on. It is certainly one of the best monster cable investments i have made.

all my surge protectors/outlets are all monster cable. quality brand. i do wish the length of the a/c cord could be a little longer. I think it's about 4 feet long. They should make an extended a/c cord version like 10 feet or something. otherwise, stick with monster cable

I purchased this surge protector for a 40" LCD TV. The price is reasonable with free shipping from Amazon. No excessive effort required with the plugs. Unit has built-in surge protection for the cable line.
