Out of Stock August 13, 2008 I ordered from costlane a couple of days ago because they would give me free expedited shipping but then I got an email saying they were out of stock, I would have to wait 3 weeks, but then i get expedited shipping so it will only take a month to get it. Even though they are still selling them today they don't have them in stock. But they raised the price so maybe if you pay 125 bucks they will be in stock for you.
Edit: This review was not the one for the silver mount for 199 bucks some how my review got moved from the original item to this one. LOL If only there was a place i could get this mount for a monoprice I would order it today.
TV Wall Mount June 9, 2008 This wall mount is OK. Be careful to make sure this mount will hold the weight of your TV. This mount has a 165 pound limit.
NOT RECOMMENDED - Very poor quality May 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this mount for my 50" Panasonic TV. When I first mounted the TV, I thought that the mount looked very flimsy - specifically, the arm itself seemed too weak to hold such a large/heavy TV - and therefore I was very cautious and limited the amount that I extended the TV to only about 1-2 times, and 30 minutes max, per week. Unfortunately, my prediction came true and now, after about 3 months of use (again, only about 30 minutes per week), the arm is so bent that it looks like it is going to break in half. I must now purchase another mount (this time I'm getting one that has two arms).
I definitely do not recommend this mount for a 50" TV (personally I'd avoid it for ANY size TV). There are 2 things I failed to keep in mind when I purchased this product: (1) "you get what you pay for", and (2) "if something seems too good to be true, it usually is".
This product is VERY poorly made and I would definitely not trust it with my valuable TV. I suggest that people spend more money on a mount to ensure that their expensive televisions are safe - this mount should be avoided by all means.
great for price May 17, 2008 before purchase read reviews they help with installation I bought one mount then ordered a second, it will hold and support a heavy panel if you have it mounted properly. pay attention to the center line or location of mount and your tv before install. and insure your mount is right side up. Both my mountes arrived as a pervious review stated upside down with head mount, you can disassemble tilt head section and install correctly, I suggest you do this anyway due to both my mounts the fasteners were loose. if you are installing on drywall wall do not attempt toogles for a heavy tv; fullow the other review with a piece of plywood. insure you have true support for the money a great mount and you should enjoy it.
Very happy May 8, 2008 Very happy with this product, very strong and did not have the problems with it being sloppy at all like some others did in thier review, would recommend to any one wanting a little flexablity with thier tv mount, great for being able to swing the tv out to hook up more cables or just to turn the tv outward to use the living space differently when company is over.
