Perfect for massive amounts of music September 1, 2008 I just want to say how please I am with this item and the seller. It arrived promptly and is just what I was looking for.
I have an MP3 player but this one takes my SD cards and as a music director I have a massive amount of music and teachings I like to have available, so this is perfect. I can sort my files according to use and just carry my SD cards. SO much easier than carrying individual CDs.
I have no idea why these types of players are no longer available in stores and unless someone starts making them again soon, they will probably not be available much longer. But if what you're looking for is something you can work with on this level, this is the best one I've found.
Best little MP3 player ever June 2, 2008 This is probably the best mp3 player I've ever owned. Works great and never gives me any problems. I love the expansion slot, I have multiple SD cards with different playlists on them so all I have to do is swap cards and I have a whole new set of tunes to match my mood, just like changing CD's, it's GREAT!
Awesome...Affordable...Alltogether Great Value!!! May 21, 2008 The SanDisk Sansa e130 is an awesome little MP3 player. It has great sound quality. It really is a lot of bang for your buck.
Player easy to operate May 19, 2008 THe MP3 player is very easy to use, only should copy the MP3 files to the card and that's all, the only compleinment are the headphones, you must change this maybe by Sony Headphones, then the sound will be great.
Nice features, but a little unpredictable... April 23, 2008 Overall, the Sansa is a nice player, very easy to figure out, solid controls and built well enough to take a little abuse. No complaints there, but I bought this particular model because it has the SD media reader. I thought it would be convenient to swap out the card on the fly rather than download new tunes to internal memory. To that end, its ability to read an SD card seems to be intermittent at best. I tried a 2GB card and that seemed to be flat out just too much for it. It took a long time to read and typically came back with zero songs. I tried a 1GB card which it seemed to like better. It took less time to read, but it was still a roll of the dice when it came to getting a song list from it. After trying several different uploads, I suspect it has some limit to the number of folders it can handle, so if the mix creates too many, the player gives it a try and then caves. For the money, this is more of an irritation than an issue, but I expected better.
