5 out of 5 stars Great   July 20, 2006

It's cheaper than the iPod I used to own, has many more functions, and has really high quality for its price and size.
It takes extra microSD's so in a few years when 2 GB might not be enough I could get extra memory.

This player is quite good with a good deal of space for the price and is expandable which is a good thing. A few bugs in the firmware that are supposedly being addressed.

I purchased the sandisk e250 one month ago and it stopped working when synching rhapsody to go music to it. The device flashes the sandisk name but you can't see it as a disk under my computer. their support wanted me to update the firmware but you can't access the device. stay away from this product!

5 out of 5 stars FABULOUS!   July 20, 2006

Needed to replace my functional, but very clunky first generation Dell Jukebox. Read all the reviews and decided to check this one out. OH MY! What a beauty! And VERY intuitive.

I'm no techie, working off my old Music Match library and this baby was a snap to load/play. The sound is full (I use an old pair of Sony headband earbuds and it sounds great; also have played it off my home stereo setup).

My only complaint is with myself: wish I'd bought the 4G. Thrilled tho' that I can zip in a micro 1G card to expand capacity.

Only issue: limited protectors (as in there's one) so far. I bought a leather credit card case and it fits nicely.

I have no problem with charging via the USB. Travelers might. I just visit friends who have computers if I need a charge on the road ;-) Or, you can buy an IPOD car charger and use the SanDisk USB instead of the IPOD's.

I REALLY love this mp3 player. Only giving up the Dell as it's too big to haul around. Still use it at home, so this was no mercy buy!
