This player can't be beat for its specific purpose--to be light, reliable, and easy to use. And the capacity is more than adequate with the choice of 1 or 2 GB. Other devices are competitive in price or capacity, but if you are already buying music through iTunes, this is the choice for active use.

I put 280 of my christian songs in the shuffle and I still have room for
more.Great little device though ear buds a bit tinny. Fixed that with some bass enhanced ear buds.

great little ipod.....holds about 240 songs which is plenty for what it is used for. Difficulty figuring the loading at first, but that is because we were trying to make it harder than it was. I would buy this again in an instant.

I bought this as a gift for my son (he's been wanting one for quite a while) and he loves it! He has downloaded tunes from I-tunes as well as from CD's we have at home. I have not used it myself, so don't know how easy the controls are, but he hasn't had any difficulties.

Product was fine. Delivery date was changed after order was placed and arrived too late for the event it was needed. Had I known this upfront, I would have gone to my local Apple store and purchased it there.
