From the sleek sexy design to the easy to use hardware and software, the iPod is at the top of the MP3 game for a reason. This generation of the iPod Classic is as good as it gets, with the extra storage space and the inclusion of Cover Flow.
If you have a large music collection and want a little style to go with your substance, pick up an iPod Classic. You won't be sorry.

This awesome little device is the BOMB!!! With tons of space,(This baby can hold lots of music,I mean lots, and the main reason I bought this,no more bulky portable CD players that only let me listen to one album at a time!!!) Easy to use(the thumbwheel takes a while to get a hang of,but you'll get used to it!!!,but NOT recommended for young kids,one drop on the floor or one good whack could probably take it out of service for good!!! I just bought a clock radio that lets me dock mine so now I wake up to the music I want to wake up too!!! This baby is so small but hold so much,it will probably hold most of my CD collection,and I have a pretty large one!!! Never used it yet for movies,TV shows,or Podcasts,but maybe someday,I love mine for the music,It's a jukebox in the palm of my hands!!! Groovy!!! Two thumbwheels up!!! Way up!!! Five stars!!! A+

Apple 80 GB iPod classic (Black)
This is my first iPod but have had various other MP3 players over the years. Can't believe how good this player is. Great build quality, features & sound. No complaints whatsoever. For those who grump about the sound, 2 tips: invest in a decent pair of headphones (e.g. in ear Shures)and rip your music at a high variable bit rate.

Just got mine and after reading all the negative reviews, I'm a little baffled. It works just the same as my old 30g. Click wheel is the same, works fine, and you don't HAVE to use coverflow, just scroll down and select "Artist" "album" or "song" to select from the list, no issue, doesn't require any extra effort. No problems whatsoever. I took it out of the box, plugged it into my computer, and synced my entire music library onto it in 20 minutes. Holds everything I have and barely put a dent in the 80g capacity. I'm lovin' this thing. fits perfectly in the leather case that I used for my 30g. only issue is I could use a little more volume output, but I expected that, most players these days are a little low on the volume than I would like, but I have a headphone amplifier for that anyway.
Money well spent. I'm happy

I'm really satisfied with the purchase of this item, the design is even better than the previous and what is incredible is the big storage capability that is better than most laptops :)
