Best LCD I've Seen October 8, 2008
I bought the Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color. I've been watching it now for about two weeks and it is unbelievable. All the other reviews on this are right on the money. Watching football is like being there on the Field. With the right camera angle I can watch the QB's eyes from my Lazy Boy chair. I also got the Samsung BD-P1500 1080p Blu-ray Player, Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue), Antennas Direct DB4 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna, Peerless SmartMount Universal Tilt Wall Mount ST660P - Mounting kit ( fasteners, bracket, tilt wall plate ) for flat panel - black - screen size: 37" - 60" - wall-mountable, and Tripp Lite A102-02M Digital Optical Audio Cable, 2x Toslink - 2M (6ft). Everything works great. Amazon is the Best! This was my first big purchase and I was a little scared but after reading all the reviews I did it. I saved over a $1000.00 by being patient and smart by using Amazon. Everything arrived in perfect condition in a little over a week. Like others here only one guy delivered the TV. He did un-box it for us.
The only thing I haven't figured out is the Touch of Color. Is this frame suppose to glow or light up? You can barley see it. All the pictures on the web show the frame as a dark red or even slightly glowing. Mine is there but you got to get right next to it to see the dark red top and bottom frame.
I'm also the only person left in America that doesn't have cable or a satellite. I'm using the Antenna mounted on my roof and I can pick up eight HD channels. All look great. So the tuner in this TV is good. The delivery guy said he has never been in a home that didn't have cable or satellite. I just laughed and thought to myself on how much money and time I save by not having them.
In closing this TV and all the stuff I bought are GREAT, you can't go wrong with Amazon.

Picture is ultra clear, PS3 games and Blu-Ray DVDs are absolutely spectacular. The 120hz looks a little awkward during movie playback but can be disabled or lowered. Highly recommended! Amazon/CEVA delivery was awesome.

As soon as I turned it on and tuned into a HD cable movie it blew my socks off. It gives a whole new experience to watching and studying films. You almost feel as if your standing on the film set. The picture has amazing blacks and color space.I went back and forth with the plasma vs LCD but I'm glad I went for the LCD for the sharpness and with no burn in.

I FOUND THE ENTIRE AMAZON PROCESS TO BE ON TIME AND THE DELIVERY NEAT CLEAN COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. THE PICTURE ON THE SAMSUNG IS BRILLIANT AND AT ANY ANGLE,AND THE ABILITY TO SWIVEL THE SCREEN LEFT OR RIGHT IS HELPFUL IF YOU WANT TO MOVE YOUR MAIN SEATING AREA FROM ONE AREA OF THE ROOM TO ANOTHER. I'M NO TECHIE SO I CAN'T DECRIBE THE PIXEL,HZ KIND OF THINGS BUT WHAT I CAN SAY IS THE PICTURE ON THIS TV IS A DREAM.ICAN SEE THE PORES IN PEOPLES FACES AND UP CLOSE SCENES WITHOUT DISTORTION. FOOTBALL IS AMAZING TO WATCH SO YOU MUST BE GETTING THE IDEA THAT I'M QUITE PLEASED WITH MY SAMSUNG

This TV has exceeded my high expectations in everyway- it's flawless. I like the red touch of color, the 120Hz, the black levels, the picture quality, the price, everything. Great value here at amazon for this set and the delivery was flawless.
