Customer Reviews:
Everyone with a laptop should own this September 29, 2008 If you use a laptop at home, you should get one of these, period. It's great for sitting on the couch or in bed, and even at a counter depending on the height. I love mine, and have recommended them to people who have loved them, and given them as gifts.
I use mine with a MacBook, and while it is a little slippery for these, but it still works just fine. If you have a more traditional, non-slippery laptop, it would be even better I suppose.
Helpful September 25, 2008 I bought this product and got it within a week or so. Very happy with my purchase. It's not high tech, it could probably float. But it certainly keeps my Macbook from raising the tempature in my crotch by 110 degree's. And I'm happy about that. It leaves space for excellent ventilation, so that you may sit on a bed and happily type your heart it. Also, elevates so that you don't have to stare downwards, which I didn't realize I was doing until I got this.
More like a notebook slide than stand September 18, 2008 There is no traction on this notebook "stand" so my Macbook laptop slides right off the smooth angled top and onto my lap. Completely non-functional as a lap desk or stand of any kind, unless you want your computer crashing to the floor when you're not looking! Unlike other reviewers, I like the look and color options for this, but none of that matters if the darn thing doesn't do what it's supposed to.
More than ample for my needs September 15, 2008 I was in need of something to not only elevate my laptop but also to help distribute the heat produced underneath it (I own a Dell Inspiron B130), I came across this stand. It gets the laptop off of my lap and also helps the computer to more properly cool itself. I don't put my mouse in the little slot in the middle, but I suppose you could. My mouse (a logitech) does not fit. The outer fabric is washable and seems very durable. The dual use sides are also a nice benefit.
Belkin Cushtop Notebook Stand - Green September 13, 2008 It does what it says it does...COOL! The green is a bit noxious though.
