Tom Tom one 3rd edition July 16, 2008 Works great -fast signal pickup- easy to see and hear. The only complaint is the way it maps a route. My old Garmen did a better job and had a better search routine. But all and all a good buy for the price.
Great July 15, 2008 We used it to drive from Oklahoma to Florida. It made are trip so much easier!! We ended up buying another one for my grandma.
Love it! July 15, 2008 This is my first gps item and I absolutely love it! There is a wide variety of voices to choose from and many, many points of interest.
Love Love Love my Tom Tom July 14, 2008 I love this little gadget, I have a really bad sense of direction and this really helps me get there quickier and it saves me a lot of time ~ I don't get lost anymore:)
Tom Tom One Third July 14, 2008 Looking forward to traveling, we bought the Tom Tom One Third as it was reasonably priced for our first try. I've always teased my husband saying he has a GPS built in to his head so was surprised when he bought it. Our first trip was to family in Fairfax, Va. We knew where we were going and it took a while to figure out how to change the GPS to eliminate certain routes it wanted to take us on. On the way home, my husband decided to follow it to see where it took us. It only works well when you listen to it and we've decided to only use it when we don't know where we are as we ended up viewing the Pentagon from two different angles as well as the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. An hour after ignoring the voice commands, my husband saw Rt 66 and went that way! One thing we discovered is that it thought we were on the 495 connection when in fact we were below it on Water Street next to the Potomac! I just think it will take a while to learn how to use it and especially for some people to listen to it!
