I got this for my wife for a gift. She loves it. She was always calling me while on the road. The only problem is that there are plenty of missing streets and I have yet to figure out how to update.

Why I like this product:
- I got it at $150 shipped.
- Ability to calculate directions in many possible ways (hence, I can plan my trip more efficiently from point A->B->C and so on.)
- 2D or 3D view, night mode, & has a running demo of your route.
- Ability to automatically increase the volume as you drive faster.
- Ability to edit or make corrections to the map.
Why I dislike this product:
- Short-life battery (about 2 hours).
- Limited POI database & some outdated entries! (I highly recommended TomTom to work on updating this!!)
- When just turning the device on, sometimes it takes up-to 2 minutes plus to lock onto a signal!
- I cannot edit the address on "my favorites" (the options are only 'Rename' or 'Delete')
- Does not support text-to-speech functionality, which speaks the actual street names rather than generic directions. But you can set on preference so you can see the street names appears on the screen.

The best GPS you can get for the price. The quality of this device secure the most confidence for a GPS user. The re-route calculation is accurate and fast and it is pretty easy to use. :O)

Pretty cool for a basic GPS. The price is great and made a great gift. When I showed the giftee how to use it, I liked it so much I bought one for myself to use in rental cars on trips!
